($27) Full ruby. Liqueur-like ripeness just short of raisiny. Large-scaled, rich and dense though not yet especially sweet. A bit warm with alcohol, with the fruit flavors just short of baked. Big chocolatey tannins coat the mouth. Really calls for a good five years of bottle aging, but will this retain freshness?
