89 Points | International Wine Cellar , January/February 2002

($50) Full red-ruby. Aromas of blackberry, currant, violet and pepper, with an exotic suggestion of pit fruits; smells like Northern Rhone syrah. Dense but juicy and tightly wound, with penetrating, slightly bound-up black fruit flavors and firm acidity. A sharply focused, firmly tannic wine with very good persistence.
