89 Points | Stephen Tanzer's IWC - July/August 2002

($49) Good saturated bright ruby. Blackberry, cassis, licorice and a floral nuance on the reticent nose. Dense, rich, ripe and fairly full in the mouth; nicely concentrated, ripely tannic and long. Supple but serious vintage port. This was released in 2001, during the company 250th anniversary. (Broadbent Selections, Inc., San Francisco, CA)
