Pale, bright color. Pure, vibrant aromas of lemon, grapefruit, gooseberry, tarragon and talc. Bracing, intense and on the lean side, with tangy flavors of lemon, blood orange and minerals. This juicy wine offers terrific fruit and seemed to grow sweeter and longer as it opened in the glass. Seems a bit riper than the '99, but this appears to be a very good rather than truly outstanding vintage for this superb sauvignon. (Clicquot Inc., New York, NY)

Tropical fruits, kiwi, pineapples, grapefruit, lemons, peaches, everything, the finish is crisp and clean. I love this wine and it gets better with every vintage.
