About Pride Mountain Vineyards
When Bob Foley was working as the winemaker here, he was known for big reds that combined the powerful, briary flavors of mountain berries with creamy, round texture and supple tannins. Foley has since moved on from this 220-acre estate that strides along the summit of the Mayacamas Ridge with a series of high-elevation vineyards. Even still, these are some of the most flamboyantly fruit-driven wines being made in northern California.

Expert Reviews
Full ruby, not as purple as the merlot. Blackberry, violet, minerals, mint and bitter chocolate on the nose. Great sappy, penetrating fruit; less fleshy than the merlot but dense and lively. Tannins really spread out and expand on the aftertaste.
