($24) Medium bright ruby. Oaky aromas of black raspberry, blackberry, currant and spicy oak; nose shows a California-like sweetness. Lush, sweet and pliant, with gentle, accessible fruit and sexy oak spices. Delicious already, but has sound ripe acidity and solid backbone. Finishes with big, even tannins and very good length.
