Musky aromas of cinnamon, clove and flowers. Juicy and on the lean side, with good concentration and clean flavors. A distinctly dry gewurztraminer, with a spicy, slightly aggressive finish.

Not too bad but I think I waited too long. Spicy, yes but a little on the alcoholic side.

Still the best $15 on the market, but I don't feel that this wines lives up to the two prior vintages, especially the '97.
