Stunning !

Dark ruby to garnet coloured appearance. Aroma : strongly mentholated and aromatic. Palate : immediately a luxurious velvet and creoste flavour gives a wonderful mouth gripping sensation. This is a well integrated and supple bodied wine. Savoury and spicy with tannins well controlled. Excellent length. This was the 2001 vintage. This is fine wine that would complement any red meat dishes or is just fine on it's own with savouries. Would give this 4.5 stars !
