I first tried Bogle while visiting friends in another state. It is very smooth and a delight with all meats. For the price, it can't be beat.
Good basic cabernet, but a cabernet

We found this wine to be big enough to carry the cabernet name. We sometimes are disappointed by the lack of robustness in some of the cheaper cabernets but this wine was a very good balance.
A great cab for the money

My 07 cab benifited from some breathing, either mechanical or natural. Good nose, good mouth-filling cab flavors. And a finish that you usually have to pay a lot more money for.The cab and the zin and the petit sirah have been on my wine lists for the past 10 years.
2005 Bogle Cab = Four Stars!!

I'll defer the technical analysis to the many reviewers available on this page. (Except that I have no idea what fruit forward "Gopher" is talking about!!) I'll just say that for $9.99 the Wine Pros at Bogle are still at the top of their game. This 2005 offering is tight at the opening but it will spring to life in the decanter. Dark berries, leathery palate, civilized tannins. Very well suited for both hearty meat and cheese dinners as well as a bracing apertif. A good wine for a fair price. A regular repeat buy for us!!
Oh so tasty

We had a dinner party the other night and one of our guests brought this as a gift. I had a wine all picked out to enjoy for the evening, but decided to open and share this cab with our guests. This turned out to be a great decision and the only problem was that there was only one bottle to go around. It is a very big full fruit forward California wine and is a great value at the price point. The finish is also very nice. I would be very hard to beat this for an every day wine. We enjoyed it very much with both the roast beef and the grilled chicken we had that night. Plenty of berries, mocha and velvety texture.
Good Deal

Best for the money

My few reviews have focused on the fact that, for most people, wine is an enigma. Those who might try wine are put off by their lack of knowledge or understanding of the nomenclature associated with wine. I hope to help change that. This is a beauty. Cab sauv is a great place to start enjoying red wine and this particular red, at this price, is a beauty. Like steak? Open a bottle of this with that New York Strip and simply act as if you knew what you were doing all along. This is a winner and one of the better sub $10 cab sauvs available.
SMOOOOOTH
