1) lightly fruity, berry, smooth, a bit expensive 2) tasty but complex, smooth, fruity, very enjoyable

Tight at first, this cab opened up nicely and had an elegance and purity of flavor that was somewhat suprising. I say somewhat because of the good reviews it's garnering. Pepper on the nose, sastifying mouth feel, ok but nothing spectacular, hints of smoke and tar, decent finish with a sastifying bite of tannin, nicely balanced with fruit, cherries. I bought it for eleven dollars at food lion, not quite sure they knew what they had. Falls short of the best value reds that I like, such as Clancy, but for a U.S.A. cab pretty darn cheap. Worth buying again, but for 15 bucks I might look to see what else is in that price range.

Well worth a try, we grabbed it randomly and did not expect such great flavor, a good cab.
