This is a great wine at a great price. We tried it at a local restaurant and liked it so much we went straight out and bought some. Still liked it when we got home.

For some reason, I've not tried the Beringer Napa yet - but we are glad we finally did! Very nicely balanced, somewhat buttery nose, smooth on the palate, nicely fruit with some oak - not one to Wow you, but simply drinkable and delicious, and very good value.

Very much enjoyed the 2000, buttery with just the right amount of oak. Unfortunately all I can find now is the 2001 which is a far cry from the 2000. I wasted my money on the 2001.
