PLEASING TO THE PALATE LIGHT TO MEDIUM BODY HINTS OF PLUM HAS A GOOD FINISH. JUST A GREAT BOTTLE TO HAVE for a get together.you won't be disappointed.

Tried this wine on the recommendation of a waiter and was very pleased. Smooth and enjoyable more like a higher priced pinot noir than a merlot. Value winner.

I'm a big fan of this wine--for the money, you can hardly do better. I came to it via a Wine Spectator recommendation. It's got complexity and dimension, and although some bottles seem to have a problem with vegetal off-flavors, I still think that, overall, it's a great bargain--especially at the Total Wines price, which is far below that of many other wine stores.

Given to me as a gift. A decent merlot. A nice wine to be used as a "filler" or when your wife's friends come over for an evening.

Had it at a restaurant, and was favorably impressed. Not too harsh on the palate... At par with similarly priced Merlots from down under.

Not Bad, not great either. It's a "filler" wine. Something to break out after your guests have consumed the good stuff (Napa '99 Edgewood!). As noted by the previous poster, a bit inconsistant - to be expected with such a large volume, mass produced wine.

Great wine and an excellent value at under $7. I believe it is comparable to wine at twice that cost. Let it breath for a bit to get more flavor.
