Impressive. I think you should load the boat on better quality Merlots as Merlot is coming back. This one goes into the cellar first.

The merlot's I prefer are: MacKenzie, Sterling, Alterra, St Clement. Clos Du Bois is Number 2 in my book (MacKenzie being number 1). This has become my household staple. My during the week table wine as well as weekend and company wine.

This Merlot WAS my staple up until their latest release of their 2008, (which I tasted up at their winery in Sonoma in August of 2010). It's now no longer what it used to be! I am really dissapointed now! Now, IMO, it's just ordinary... or less than!
