Very complex mild fruit, smooth, Full-bodied, excellent price for this wine! WTC agrees this is an excellent choice. We tried this wine with a spectrum of various foods from cheeses, veggies, full meal and it was consistent. Will buy again! Try this wine and for a price you can't compare.

So YOUNG it MUST be DECANTED!!

This 2007 Val Supe from Zenato is so young that it absolutely MUST be decanted for at least an hour or more. Otherwise it is far too acidic and unruly to be remotely enjoyable. In fact the remainder mellowed quite nicely out over night in it's Vaccu Pumped bottle. Muted nose, beautiful red hues, rich mouth feel, dark fruity palate, a hint of chocolate and some spice,,mannerly tannins on the leathery finish. Well crafted wine. Recommended but only after serious decanting. 3 1/2 stars.
