Price + Taste!!!

With the fruity and honey taste that this wine gives and the bargain basement price you cannot go wrong. This is the third time I have had it and make it a staple on my weekly purchase.
Great Wine. Great Price.

We've been drinking this wine as our "house" white for about three years now (2006) and it continues to be one of our favorites. Very light, very crisp, with lemony aftertaste and subtle pear aromas. Good with almost any chicken dish or mild fish, or just for sitting with friends. Serve chilled, but not too cold.
Really nice

for the money of course.
Just don't drink it too cold.
It has a nice gold color, smooth with lemon aftertaste.
Great value white wine

Very nice white for the price. Good with seafood. Like a Sauvignon Blanc with lower acidity. I will buy more.
Delicious

With a light chill this wine really is a great alternative to the main white wine grapes we all know and love. You can't beat the price on this wine for the quality you get.
near perfect seafood wine

Some say that muscadet is the perfect oyster wine. Picpoul is very close behind. This pairs well with any simply prepared fresh seafood, especially shellfish. I've enjoyed it with oysters, pan-seared scallops and rare tuna.
Light summer wine

Very light and simple, yet was quite tasty on a hot summer evening with fresh strawberries, blueberries and assorted light cheeses.
Good wine for the price

Great alternative to a crispy sauv. blanc. Beautiful zest and a wonderful dry finish.
Very dry.

The taste is crisp, refreshing, well balanced. Goes well with any kind of seafood. I would recommend it to wine affectionados who like to try new things. It is quite different than any typical white, such as chardonnay, chenin blanc, pino grigio, etc. It does have some distinctive tase, that makes it different.

Light, Crisp Wine best served chilled. Had a strong acidic taste at first but got better with each drink. Great buy for the price. Will purchase again.
Was a bargain....

At 6.99 this was a great buy....at 9.99 there are other wines that I would choose. It is still 6.99 in D. C. area...Why not here???

If you are looking for an alternative white to replace your Chardonnay, Sauv. Blanc rut, give this a try. A nice crisp, dry sipper. A great aperitif while you are preparing dinner!
We love this white

Tried it for a white wine to go with Thanksgiving dinner, was very impressed and picked up a few more bottles.
Simple quaffer.

I have tasted a couple other Picpoul's and along with Domaine Lauriers this is a good under $10 wine.
Very nice

Looks like a more expensive wine; tastes like one, too. Bought two bottles after a tasting, and went back for three more. Probably should have gotten a case.
Very nice white for those who like a non-oaky, non-fruity, dry wine with good flavor. At $6.99, wow!
Refreshing

This is a nice detour from the chardonnay/sauvignon blanc/riesling/Pinot grigio route. Bet it would make some serious magic with some provencal style seafood dishes.

Not my favorite white wine

This was a nice thing to try, and if you like sharp, dry whites then it's worth it. It was so dry it was almost sour at first, but after a few sips I started liking it better and better. Definitely not for those who like fruitier wines.

I did not like this wine at all. Tried it with food and w/o food. Bought 2 bottles. Husband had to drink it.
