Always looking for an affordable chardonnay that is rich and oaky (I HATE astringent chardonnays). This is IT . . . and at a great price!!!

very nice fruit/oak balance. Oak flavours blend nicely into the chardonnay fruit. Medium acidity makes it slightly buttery. Nice quality for the price. Great with quiche and salads

I had a glass of this wine at Courthouse Coffee in Auburn of all places (a great little patio.) A very nice chard if you're looking for smooth and buttery.

The 2005 was a solid bottle at $12; about what you'd expect at that price point from RRV. Good fruit, well balanced, pleasant oak and butter. I'd buy again.

nice in every way. My wife liked this wine alot and had nice tropical aromas and a creamy finish. We both prefer the chateau souverain for the same price but this is a nice wine for the money.

Either I have no idea what a creamy finish is, or maybe i wouldn't appreciate it if i did! At any rate, this wine did absolutely nothing for me. Drinkable, but would not buy again. Although it did taste a bit better the next day.
