Excellent with beef

Friend chose this for our table to have with beef. Probably one of the best (2006 vintage) red wines I have ever had. Restaurant price was $44, so < $20 is a really great price for this selection. HIGHLY recommended!

WOW really good for $14 needs to decant for 2 hrs but would be great w/ beef. had it 2-28-10 w/ turkey marsala a little powerful for the dish but very solid wine.

My husband and I were very impressed by this wine. A very nice blend and very smooth on the palate. We had this with a chicken/mushroom dish and it didn't over power. But be careful-it has a high alcohol content and can pack a wallop. I would definitely recommend it.

About Chile

Virtually every wine region in Chile benefits from proximity to the Pacific Ocean and the cooling Humboldt Current that flows up from the South Pole. Although Chile extends more than 2,000 miles from north to south, its grape-growing regions are clustered in the center of the country, where rainfall is concentrated during the winter months, and where an absence of fungal diseases makes for relatively carefree grape-farming.
