This was the only Riesling on the wine menu at a restaurant that I was at so i didn't have much choice in the matter, but I'm glad I tried it! The best Riesling I've ever had. Not too sweet
Cruising Party

I have had this wine before and liked it very much. So on a recent cruise to Alaska I introduced some friends (18 of them) to the wine. After one glass they refused to drink any other wine. A wonderful little wine that is excellent for drinking and is great with most foods.

Some girlfriends and I treated our friend for her birthday at a new local hot spot and the recommended wine was the Ste. Michelle Riesling Eroica. It was fabulous!
What a collaboration

Collaboration between Chateau Ste. Michelle and Dr.Loosen (Germany). A very nice Riesling that has perfectly balanced minerality and fruitiness, with a nice finish. Nothing overpowers anything else. Fantastic value @ Total Wine. This wine would be a great value even if the price was $30.00 a bottle.

Since I like reisling and my spouse likes chardoney, it was wonderful to discover a wine that we both enjoyed tremendously--Chateau Ste. Michelle Rieslinging Eroica. We discovered this wine thanks to our waiter at Morton's at Tysons Corner in Virginia. Never be able to thank him enough. It was smooth enough for me and had enough body to satisfy his taste. Loved it!!!

My husband and I enjoy the Washington State Rieslings. This one is no exception. We usually buy different wines to try, but I would definitely buy this one again.
Is This Really Reisling?

I know... reisling is supposed to be sweet and simple, just like the high school cheer leader you never dated. Give the Eroica a taste... Oh my, the fruit yes, but not overpowering. What lures you in with the promise of easy drinking yields to the sophistication that makes this a truly great Reisling. The fullness in this wine is what will allow this wine to compete with any Chardonnay.

For a red wine drinker, this is quite a change. It is not what I thought of the old .... Nun, that was so sweet it would pull your fillings out! This is a delightful, fresh, pleasing wine. I may be spoiled for the rest I try.

Riesling

The Riesling grape may scare away some wine novices. In Germany, where the grape reaches its finest expression, labels hew to a rigid, abstruse set of classifications, leaving newcomers with little idea what they may be looking at. Furthermore, many wine drinkers' early experiences with sweet wines from Germany (think Blue Nun), have not been especially rewarding. We say that it's your loss if you continue to fear the...
