I am relatively new to California wines (I have typically avoided them, thinking European wines had more refined character), but my eyes have been opened. The body and texture are wonderful and the flavor is unique -- hints of chocolate and creamy toffee/caramel mingle with a raspberry fragrance. This is truly a great wine, perfect for sipping by itself.

This wine has a smooth flavorful taste with an even smoother finish. Well worth the money!

As the label says it a taste of black cherry and a long finish. There's no disappointment here.. especially given the price.
