Tasted 2004 Vintage on 2/10/07. A little light for our steak dinner. You get a glimpse of it and it disappears. Tangy. Tannic. Good though.
This is a 3-star plus, but gets a 4th star for excellent, low price. Tasted the '03 in early October '05. Was super-tannic and a bit hot at first, but evolved nicely over an hour, with bold fruit, pepper, earthiness, receding tannins, and silky yet dry sweetness. Easy Drinking wine. Smooth Start peppery finish. Strong fruit flavors but hard to distinguish what they are. Great everyday wine and good for meals
