we attended a wine dinner by these guys in rome in the early 90's. all their wine is great. this is oaky, smooth with real body. 10-07 paid 14.63 at sams 10-07 with grouper oscar, rich, oaky, buttery dy loves it so do i

A very good wine for the price. Enjoyed this with grilled salmon and mango-cilantro salsa.
Not a wimpy chardonnay

Unlike most California chards in this price range, this has body, a creamy richness with overtones of vanilla and the oak used to barrel ferment the wine. Well worth the price.
