Champagne Taittinger opened its showplace winery in Carneros in 1989, where it specializes in making sparkling wines that are creamy yet light on their feet. Winemaker Eileen Crane, handpicked by Claude Taittinger for her position at Carneros, specializes in sparkling wines, and has managed the Domaine's organically farmed vineyard from the start.

By far my favorite Pinot Noir. Earthy yet very creamy and fruity. so worth the price. Great paired with NY Sirloin with a Montreal Grill Mates rub.
