Don't know much, but I know what I like. This is a good Pinot for the $.
We (and the WSJ) like it..
Wall St. Journal gave the 2001 a Good/Very Good, so I bought one a while back. Finally got around to drinking it. The wife and I both liked it a lot. Will be buying more. To quote WSJ, "Rich and chewy with real depth and a bit of attractive toughness. A wine to talk about."
The basic cherry, currant and light fruitiness of this wine make it a perfect summer picnic companion.
