I had the pleasure of drinking a 2005 bottle of this wine at Les Chefs des France at Disney's Epcot. My food choice was Escargot, French onion soup and a goat cheese salad. This vintage went perfectly with each dish. It has a light, fruity taste, not too sweet with a smooth rather than tart finish. It complimented all of the dishes very well.

This is by far my favorite of the vouvrays I've tried. Highly recommend. Not too sweet as some can be and very smooth finish.
My wife and I were first introduced to Vouvray several years ago... this is undoubtedly one of our favorites. Even better, it's one of the cheaper varieties carried by Total Wine.
