($120) Bright red. Perfumed, fresh aromas of raspberry, rose petal and crushed stone. Then floral, dry, minerally and penetrating, with brisk acids giving focus to the moderately ripe flavors. Not a fleshy Rioja, but pure, young and persistent. This needs to be paired with food.
