90 Points | Stephen Tanzer's IWC - July/August 2009

($50; 75% tempranillo, 15% garnacha and 10% graciano and mazuelo) Bright red. Complex aromas of cherry, sassafras, dried rose and pungent herbs, with a gentle vanilla note. Fleshy, sweet and graceful red fruit flavors are firmed by a bitter cherry quality and pick up dusty tannins with air. Finishes on a juicy note, with lingering cherry and herbal notes.
