89 Points | Stephen Tanzer's IWC - November/December 2001

($96; a blend of 60% grenache, 20% cabernet sauvignon and 20% carignan) Red-ruby. Roasted red fruits, meat and brown spices on the warm nose. Bright, enticing flavors of currant, strawberry, licorice and minerals. Good density and structure. Finishes a bit aggressive but fresh, with big, rich tannins and lingering fruit.
