This is one of the easiest drinking wines you will ever taste. If you want to progress from sweet red wines start with this one, you will love it

This wine lives up to the Merchant's review. We served it at two parties and it was enjoyed by all. Taste and price are perfectly matched!

This wine while not as complex as I personally like, it has some definite qualities to make it a superb wine at 8 dollars a bottle. Not too smooth not too acidic. If you want a inexpensive but not cheap wine, I suggest Oak Grove Merlot 2008 Reserve.

This is a terrific bottle of inexpensive Merlot... brimming with lots of plum flavors and spice... a perfect opener for any dinner party or sipping occasion... we keep a bottle of this on hand at all times... don't let the small price fool you - this one's not to be ignored.

This 2007 Merlot from bulk wine producer Oak Grove is much "better" than most of it's peers. Zack at TW Towson, MD said that Oak Grove wines are "true to their varietal." And he was absolutely spot on!! Not a $30 five star Merlot for certain, but a soft, gentle, well crafted very tasty Party Sipper with none of the usual off-putting "fatal" flaws associated with wines at this price point. Recommended within it's limitations. Bravo Zack!

I am a novice to wine in general, merlot in particular. I was pointed in the direction of Gumdale and Oak Grove. We enjoyed the Gumdale so much that we bought a second bottle before opening the Oak Grove. We will buy both again, they both turned out to be excellent reccommendations.

It's smooth, flavorful, and light...almost like a Pinot Noir. Definitely a good value. Double bottles are even more affordable. We're serving this at our wedding coming up!

This wine is medium bodied with berry flavors and a smooth finish. One of the better Merlots I have tried for the money.

This was universally well received by all who tasted this Merlot at our dinner party. It's a really nice wine that I'll be sure to buy again.

While not "special", this is a good inexpensive everyday merlot with plenty to recommend it at this price level.

I enjoyed this wine. Would not hesitate serving it to friends. I did not experience the acidic taste that another mentioned. Will purchase again.

This merlot is a great wine for the price. It has full flavor and has become a favorite for our household.

Not our favorite wine. I am a wine novice, true, but nevertheless this is my story. Not a wine recommended for someone starting out from sweeter whites.

" Kenney " seems to have a poor grasp of his palate. This wine is soft, fruity and quite pleasant. It's a party wine all the way. "Acidic"?!?! Not even close K-man. You're either A. Confused or B. A Novice wino. Acidic is Italy...Loire Valley SB....NOT Oak Grove Merlot. This is a solid buy.
