This is a very good wine for people who aren't into Merlots or Dry Wines.
rich red sweet wine
I have looked and searched for a wine that is to MY liking. This is it. I was directed by my Doc. to have a glass of wine every day to help my digestive system. Since I am not a drinker at all, I needed something that would mask the spirits.
I guess it's the type of grape that makes it even sweeter than your average wine but it was so sweet that I had no choice than to do what the bottle said to do. Mix it with other stuff like club soda, ginger ale, etc. IThat was fine but then that would beat the purpose of it being a "wine". Yes, you can drink it straight but then it is so sweet, that it makes Sangria seem tart in comparison. If you like super sweet, this is the bottle for you. I tried it with ginger ale 1:1 and it didn't improve on the sweetness. Maybe if it was club soda. If you want a regular wine or just "normal" sweet wine, try Sangria. This is sweet overkill. Kinda like buying grape juice with vodka. Too bad they only show the alcohol % but not the sugar content %.
This wine is for communion, it is not for serving guests at dinner. Way too sweet to be called a wine.
After California, New York is the second-largest producer of wine in the U.S. It's home to 4 wine growing regions and 8 different appellations. Each of New York's wine regions has a distinct climate and is known for a particular style of New York wine.
