This has to be one of the best summer wines. It's light, fruity, and shimmering taste come alive when it's served really cold. I like to put mine in the freezer until it's about ready to form ice crystals. Perfect for sipping in the hot tub, on a sunny deck, or before the burgers or BBQ come off the grill. Works well with chicken, pork loin, fish, or light pasta dishes. It's sometimes hard to find, so when I do I buy as much as I can because I like to give it away to people who've never tried it. Everyone is amazed and love it. You will too.

What a treasure this inexpensive, effervescent wine is! I found it by accident and now it's a staple at my house. It MUST be well-chilled and is best when drunk once the bottle has been opened. (Try Aveleda's Charamba red---excellent for around $5 a bottle. I've had worse for a lot more money!)
