We travel to Italy about every 18 months. I was totally a white fan until I tried this at a tratoria in Pienza. then, we found that most of the family restaurants (who pride themselves on the quality of their "house" wines) were serving this wine. I have been buying it by the case now for over 2 years. I dread making the review because I know it will help make this wine inaccessable. It is so smooth--a young Brunello, and almost as good for one fifth the price.

This is a nice easy drinkable Montalcino. My friends loved this more than me, but I did like it.
