Exceptional value

The best New Zealand white in this price range. Very crisp with good acidity and I really do taste tropical fruits (pineapple?) plus lemon - amazing.
Great Value

Lean and lemony, with plenty of extra dimensions and complexity. I'm mostly a red wine drinker, but this white I buy by the case. Absolutely delicious.
An Exceptional Sauvignon Blanc

Everything I expect in a good sauvignon blanc and more at a really reasonable price. Complex and satisfying.
Typical citrus-ish SB from NZ

The SBs from New Zealand have characteristic citrus (grapefruit or lemon) flavors. This also has a grassy quality. Good for grilled chicken or fish.
Pungent Delight!

Wow! If you can't smell the "cat's pee" essence of this 2005 Sav Blanc you've either never owned cats,,,or never cleaned out the litter box! This snappy wine is the Poster Child for the rugged, DELICIOUS, NZ Sav Blancs. Tart, complex and rather robust for such a tightly structured light bodied offering. Fantastic as an apertif, marries well with lighter fare, fish & seafood and cheese dishes. Just plain fun to drink!!
Quite good

In its class, this is a very pleasant wine. I am into my second case now. It is more restrained than some sauvignon blancs but does retain the character of the grape. Not a great wine, but solidly ok.
very nice with a little of spice

very tast and priced fairly. I prefer to just sip this by itself, but I'm sure it would go great with some spicy food or something else with a really bold flavor.
A FINE SAUVIGNON BLANC

A PLEASANT NOSE IS FOLLOWED BY A WIDE ARRAY OF CITRIS--THEN COMPLEXITY OF BODY------- THEN A LONG SATISFYING FINISH. A VERY NICE WINE AND ONE THAT DEFINES A DELICIOUS SAUVIGNON BLANC
Must be a minority opinion

I don't know, but for me this was not so great. A funny aroma (someone else described it as pungent which is what I also focused on) put me off. The tast was overly tart as well. I love NZ Sauv Blancs, but I won't be buying this one again.....

Pretty good, not 5 stars or anything. Nice, fruity, good with fish.
