(a blend of Bessards and Meal for the U.S. importer) Full medium ruby. Pretty, precise nose combines blackberry, gunflint, violet, licorice and spices. Juicy, firm and penetrating but also nicely pliant and sweet, in the style of the year. Lively flavors of dark berries, licorice and dark chocolate. Finishes with very good length and a light peppery note.
