($45) Bright dark red, a bit less saturated than the Cotes du Rhones-Villages. Pinot-like aromas of raspberry, flowers and spices, with mineral and chocolate nuances. Sweet, juicy and precise, with lacy red berry flavors and noteworthy finesse. Acids are perfectly integrated. This is still quite primary, but has the intensity and balance to reward aging.
