($60; cabernet sauvignon with 10% merlot and 5% petit verdot) Bright, full ruby. Penetrating aromas of cassis, violet, and chocolate-dipped black cherry. A step up in intensity and sweetness from the foregoing wines: lush and dense but violety and sharply delineated. Brisk acids and firm tannins are nicely integrated. This is more harmonious in bottle than it was from barrel.
