($60) Dark red-ruby. Currant, plum, roast coffee and mint on the nose, with a faint leafy quality. Supple, sweet and smooth; dense and highly concentrated. At once lush and sappy, with fruit, game and lightly herbaceous flavors nicely framed by harmonious acids. Quite broad and mouthfilling without losing its shape. Long and ripe on the back end, with suave tannins.
