($75) Palish bright straw with a yellow edge. Funky, assertive aromas of citrus and tropical fruits, dried flowers, wheat meal and grilled cashew carry the distinctive Giaconda stamp. Richly textured and deeply flavored, with an almost oily palate of sumptuous grapefruit and melon fruit bordered by fine-grained and spicy vanillin oak. A wine of exceptional power, yet finely balanced and seamless.
