Grape Type: Gewurztraminer
Origin: France
Region: Alsace
90 Points | International Wine Cellar , November/December 2003
($48; from very ripe grapes without much botrytis) Rather delicate aromas of pineapple, honey and spice. Quite perfumed but not at all crude on the palate, with subtle notes of yellow fruits, spices and flowers. Sweet (43 g/l r.s.) but not sugary, thanks to harmonious acids. Very understated, rich, appealing gewurztraminer with the balance to reward aging.
