($25; these vines were picked about three weeks later than the pinot blanc Bennwihr; 50% aged in barriques More serious aromas of dried fruits, butter and stone. Richer, broader and sweeter than the Bennwihr, but also more stony. Smoky, ripe, large-scaled pinot blanc with impressive texture and balance.
