90 Points | Stephen Tanzer's IWC - January/February 2003

($50) Bright black-ruby. Precise, pure aromas of high-pitched cassis and blackberry. Dense, sweet and grapey, with a mineral aspect but a bit less dimension than the Cockburn's. A somewhat dryer, less nuanced, less fleshy wine but with excellent fruit intensity and firm structural underpinning. Tannins are big and broad. (Allied Domecq Wines USA, Healdsburg, CA)
