94 Points | International Wine Cellar , November/December 2011

(80% chardonnay and 20% pinot noir, from a single site in Rilly la Montagne; disgorged April, 2010):  Light gold.  Strikingly complex bouquet of fresh citrus and orchard fruit scents, along with notes of iodine, chamomile, vanilla and smoky minerals.  Like a serious white Burgundy with bubbles, offering intense orange, pear and spice flavors and a smoky overtone.  Finishes very long and precise, with lingering smokiness and mouthwatering minerality.  This is the last vintage for this bottling, by the way.
