($75) Deepish, lightly browning red. Unusually tarry and floral on the rather evolved nose, with mature minty aromas of sweet leather and chocolate. Supple, elegant and long, but entirely lacking in primary fruit and looking very advanced for its age. Tight and savory on the end, with fine powdery tannins.
