Medium red. Aromas of cherry, menthol, licorice and leather. Sweet but clenched following the July bottling; a rather muscular, classically styled Barolo with notes of dried flowers and minerals. Juicy, gripping wine with lovely fresh fruit and a fairly tough structure.
