($45) Good medium ruby. Very ripe aromas of cassis, licorice, espresso and cedary, nutty oak. Sweet, concentrated and pliant, with very good breadth and depth of flavor for this basic cabernet bottling. Finishes with suave, building tannins and noteworthy persistence.

I see little tanin in the finish, as previously recorded, perhaps some age helped...but fruity, vanilla and nice finish. I loved it and want more. Top of my list and at $35, a deal.

I had the 2001. Wow. If I could, I would rate this a 4.75. It has a velvety mouthfeel with sweet fruit and just enough tannins and cassis to make you remember how great a Napa Cab can be. The aroma is enticing and really matches with the taste. For the price this is a great Cab....
