Saturated black ruby. Knockout nose combines dark fruits, bitter chocolate, violet, espresso and pepper. A sappy, sweet fruit bomb with a layered texture and superb intensity. Extremely long on the finish, with strong but surprisingly sweet tannins. Another superb example from this outstanding site, where the vineyard character typically is as clearly expressed as the grape variety.
