($48) Glass-staining saturated dark ruby. High-toned aromas of cassis, black cherry and bitter chocolate. Huge, sweet, dense and unrefined. This has superb material but verges on volatile. Finishes with huge, toothfurring tannins. Noteworthy for its impressive raw material.
