($52) Saturated medium ruby. Roasted, liqueur-like aromas of black raspberry and bitter chocolate, with hints of maple syrup and sweet oak. Thick, lush and sweet, with superripe cherry, berry and chocolate flavors and pronounced oakiness. The suavest of the three current releases from this winery, but could use a bit more vibrancy and nuance. Finishes with substantial but very fine tannins.
