About Spottswoode Vineyard
Part of the old guard in Napa Valley, Spottswoode was established in the first wave of vine planting, back in 1882. Christened by Mrs. Albert Spotts in 1910, Spottswoode is now managed by Mary Novak and her two children, Beth and Lindy. Over the past two decades, Spottswoode has been one of the most consistent Cabernet producers of California, with a track record for graceful bottle aging.

Saturated, deep ruby-red. Tight, inky aroma of cassis and shoe polish. Very intense dark berry flavor; shows more personality in the mouth today than it does on the nose. A delicious sample, almost too tasty for such a young sample. Finishes very long, with firm tannins.
