This is the BEST everyday white especially for the Total Wines price. My wife and I try every Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc we can. I used to buy Kim Crawford for up to $19 a bottle before Total Wines. The best part of buying it by the case is roaming the whole store. Screw caps are in!
Still the best under $15
I try lots of sauvignon blancs, but this is still by far the best and at a great price. The 2007 and 2008 vintages have both been very good. It's well-balanced, with crisp citrus notes.
Crisp w/ Grapefruit
Great to have with seafood or chicken, or just to sip on the deck. Terrific.
I love this wine but it isn't available in PA.
This is my absolute favorite white wine I have ever had. I buy it by the case. This is the only white wine that has a bouquet that takes me to another world no matter what is happening around me. The price for this wine is so low I can hardly believe it considering how great it is. citrus & herb. I'm in heaven thinking of it, I better go open a bottle now.
A Taste of Heaven
As the Corridor description says, this Sauvignon Blanc has hints of the sweet and exotic passion fruit, making it almost as pleasing to the nose as it is to the palate, and ends with as refreshing a citrus taste as I've ever encountered in a wine. It has a perfect blend of sweetness and dryness. The only problem I can see with it is that one might be unable to share it! I recommend it fully.
This has a great taste that is not too dry or too sweet. It is a happy medium with a hint of citrus.
Sauvignon Blanc Wine Tasting
This was top wine at our River Walk Wine Club August '06 wine tasting. Paired perfectly with seafood and chicken menu.
great dry white
crisp,light, dry white, excellent taste
Look out all you little blue points--you've met your match....
2010 another very good year
Another good year for KC SB. Always crisp, always refreshing, with that grapefruit flavor at the front. Still pricey but the other top Sauv. Blancs are catching up. Lots of styles in the SB market and its easy to have a lot of favorites.
Nice Sauvignon Blanc from New Zealand.Deliciously crisp and light, with clean grapefruit, tangerine, and basil notes and bracing acidity. Springtime in a bottle. Not quite as herbaceous as others from the region, but very nice.
I enjoyed this wine with fish the other night. The nose had a deep mix of citrus, apple and passion fruit. The finish was very nice and overall a smooth drinking Sauv. Balanc. Reasonably priced, too.
Lots of Citrus
I noticed the citrus just from the nose before I took my first taste. Lots of lemon and grapefruit with a nice clean finish. Very pleasant. I'd have given a 5 star if the price had been a couple dollars less.
Crisp and Refreshing
A very crisp, dry, and refreshing summer wine. It pairs well with white meats but is just as refreshing by itself. For the price ($13.99) I would highly recommend you pick up this wine while it is still avaliable. Vintage(2007) 2006 was rated at 92 by WA.
You're gonna love this one....
This wine is as "clean and refreshing" as it gets. Nice citrus notes; a real pleasure to sip.
Favorite Sauvignon Blanc
Always a good buy, IMO. Crisp and refreshing and so easy to drink.
I had this at a restaurant at the suggestion of the bartender and loved it! I can't wait to pick up a bottle of my own.
A nice sauvignon blanc with more acidity and zing than Monkey Bay
Tastes the way it's supposed to. Clean. crisp, uncomplicated. For $11.99 you won't go wrong.
Great summer wine

92 rating wine spec --top 100
I don't understand all the hype about Kim Crawford (2007). Maybe the 2008 will live up to Wine Spectator's top 100 rating. Go for the Matariki instead.
Good but had better for less $.
I liked the Sterling brand much better and it only cost $6.99.
Great everyday wine
Another great New Zealand wine. I really like it for an everyday wine. In comparison to the Brancott, I like this one a little bit better.
slight tartness over a slightly dry sauvignon blanc body
by Grill Hoeppel12418343
tasted bitter with food, but mellowed over time.
if you like grapefruit....
by Robert 22033
Then you will probably like this Sauvignon Blanc. It has a bit more citrus than i would like - but it's dry and after the first few sips, it started to grow on me. My wife like it much more than I did. I must admit, I much prefer something like a Courtney Benthem SB, but I'm probably in the minority on that.
opus 5 dinner
tooo tart - ok, didn't love
Smelled like lighter fluid
My wife thought it was great. However, I found it repellent.
Had a bottle of the 2007 and the 2008 to share with friends for Thanksgiving dinner. I'm glad I opened the 2007 first, it was good, the 2008 was awful. Two of my guests passed on the 2008, I couldn't give it away.
