Butterscotch and caramel notes on the nose lead to a rich, buttery, thickly textured palate with flavors of caramel and saltwater taffy. At the same time there is a juicy orange citrus side trying to be heard. Attractively bittersweet hints of orange marmalade and some overtly pungent botrytis notes emerge in the finish. Formidably long, with a faintly chili pepper-like prickle. This needs time to harmonize and focus. 1 star.
